Participants will get insights on how to support students/learners in their learning process in order to get better performance in the knowledge management.
This course explores the fundamental question of why learning is important in our lives and how it shapes our personal and professional development. It delves into the multifaceted aspects of learning, emphasizing its relevance in a rapidly changing world. Students will gain insights into the intrinsic and extrinsic motivations for learning, the cognitive processes involved, and the practical applications of lifelong learning.
By the end of this course, participants will:
- Understand the Concept of Learning: Gain a comprehensive understanding of what learning is and the various forms it can take, from formal education to informal experiences.
- Appreciate the Intrinsic Value of Learning: Explore the intrinsic motivations for learning, including curiosity, personal growth, and the pursuit of knowledge for its own sake.
- Recognize the Extrinsic Benefits of Learning: Examine the tangible benefits of learning, such as career advancement, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability in a changing world.
- Analyze the Cognitive Processes of Learning: Investigate the cognitive mechanisms involved in acquiring and retaining knowledge, including memory, critical thinking, and metacognition.
- Explore Lifelong Learning: Recognize the importance of lifelong learning and develop strategies to cultivate a habit of continuous self-improvement.
- Apply Learning to Real-World Scenarios: Connect theoretical concepts to practical applications in personal and professional contexts, emphasizing the role of learning in problem-solving and innovation.
- Consider Ethical and Social Aspects of Learning: Reflect on the ethical dimensions of knowledge acquisition and the societal implications of access to education.

Methodology
Expositive method, interrogative method, active method (online dynamics, group games in an online environment).
Classes are didactically structured to facilitate the creation of knowledge and the development of competencies and skills.
This course is delivered through a combination of lectures, interactive discussions, readings, case studies, and practical exercises. Participants will have opportunities to engage in self-directed learning projects and collaborative activities that reinforce the importance of learning in various contexts.
Assessment Methods: Assessment in this course includes written reflections, group projects and a final group evaluation.
